Chicago Wedding at Friendship Conservatory Reception at Chateau Ritz by Peer Canvas Photographer

Brenton and I are sooooooo excited to share the details of Christina and Rico’s Wedding with you!!!  It  was our very first FULL CINEMA wedding.  We did both the photography and videography for this great event.  (high-five)  We had an absolute blast ---and were so very honored to share this EPIC day with them J  Great big thanks to Josiah from Bonza Media for being our 3rd camera guy!!  Couldn’t have done it without you!

Christina and Rico were married May 16th at the Friendship Park Conservatory in Des Plaines IL.   It was a crazy day that started with SNOW of all things.  Luckily the clouds parted---the snowflakes flurried away---and we somehow still managed a beautiful day for their outdoor courtyard ceremony.

The bride and groom had their “first look” over the balcony at the Embassy Suites in Rosemont.  It ended up being the perfect romantic place to see each other for the first time.  You never would have guessed that their Atrium was under construction---and there was some sort of an Anime convention going on.

We boarded the party bus and headed to Community Park, which was complete with waterfalls and a swan straight out of a fairy tale.  Make no mistake though; swans are just as mean as geese.  I don’t recommend petting/feeding/or being in their general area, but they are pretty in the background for pictures.

Marian Hale was the officiant for the ceremony at FriendshipPark Conservatory.  Marian was absolutely great to work with.  I just love how genuinely excited she is in the pictures and video.  The Conservatory was just gorgeous too.  Tons of beautiful flowers and water features made for great photo spots all over.  They were capable of hosting the ceremony inside or out—luckily we were still able to have the ceremony outside in the courtyard J

The reception was held at the Chateau Ritz.  This place is made for weddings.  The chandelier in the ballroom was to die for.  I also loved that there was a little VIP room for the bridal party to hang out in.  It had its own balcony and everything.  The DJ was really keeping the party bumping.  He did an excellent job with getting the crowd and bringing up the excitement.

OK OK----IT is time to Enjoy the Show!! (i.e. watch this awesome wedding video)
I just love that Christina and Rico also wrote their own vows---and included their darling little daughter Mia.  She is just the cutest---and somehow even cuter when she cuts in on their first dance---precious J

Josiah from Bonza Media doing his thing.  I am not positive that is how the camera is meant to be held---but if it gets the right angle, I am all for it :)

Last but certainly not least----by husband Brenton. (seen here sewing on a button for one of the groomsmen)  Not only can Brenton take killer pictures, video, and lug around insane heavy equipment all day----he can sew on a button.  This guy is a keeper, and he is all mine :)
