Brenton and I first met Kelsey at the Stateline Splendor Bridal Expo at the Clocktower in Rockford IL. Kelsey was hard to forget with her big smile and warm heart. We were eager to meet with her and had our fingers crossed that we would get to do her wedding. When we met her fiance and adorable son --- and later her mother as well--- we just knew it was a great fit and all easily agreed that we this was a great match for everyone.

Fred and Kelsey shared with us the beautiful story of how he proposed on the ferris wheel at Navy Pier in Chicago, IL. So, naturally this just had to be the spot for their engagement pictures. Brenton and I absolutely loved the idea of a fun lovey shoot at Navy Pier. Flashing lights, carnival rides, water all around---it sounded like loads of fun with this wonderful couple----and the actual day completely was.

We rode the Ferris Wheel----and also the swings---which are my personal favorite. We made faces in the wonky mirrors and enjoyed a few quiet moments along the pier as well. We are very much looking forward to their wedding this December at Merrill and Houston's Steak Joint - located within the Iron Works hotel in Beloit, WI----and are so happy that you chose us to be a part of your big day.
