DC Estate Winery Wedding | Erin + Matt
The VIDEO is here from Erin and Matt's gorgeous wedding at DC Estate Winery!! Their wedding was clad in blush and gold, the bride and flower girl had matching up-do buns, and the special couple made their reception entrance in Blackhawks Jerseys. So much fun all around. The speeches/toasts had us all rolling... watch to the end of their video for a blooper from one of the funniest parts of the toast.

Erin got ready in the bridal suite at DC Estate winery. How gorgeous are Erin's eyes here?? Love the back detailing and lace on her dress too!
Both Erin and Matt wrote wonderful letters to each other which were sealed into a special box along with a bottle of wine from DC Estate not to be opened until their 5th wedding anniversary. Matt may come across like he is all jokes (and he certainly is a fun guy) but he sure does have a big heart as well. Erin is one lucky lady. We stepped aside for a private moment for Matt to read the letter. We came back to join the guys to find the ring bearers measuring each other to see who was taller.
It was a wonderful sunny day for the ceremony. The flowers are by Broadway Florist. The baby's breath bouquets were a splendid accent on the wine barrels that lined the isle. The box that is currently holding their love letters and bottle of wine is pictured in the bottom right. During the ceremony, rather than a unity candle, Erin and Matt enclosed the letters and wine in the box and nailed it shut.
Love that the Bride and flower girl have matching up-do buns. The bridesmaids blush dresses were a beautiful match to romantic vineyard backdrop. Erin and Matt signed their wedding certificate under a new arch that was installed by the creek at DC Estate Winery--then gave hi-fives all around. Officially. Married.
We took Erin and Matt out into the vines for a few moments alone for romantic pictures before heading into the pavilion for their reception.
The cake and cupcakes were by The Sweetery and they were delicious. The Sweetery is located in downtown Rockford and they specialize in gourmet cupcakes using farm fresh organic eggs and herbs sourced from local grocers, growers and farms. Love supporting another local business!
Erin and Matt are both huge Blackhawks fans and so they made their entrance to the reception in Blackhawks jerseys. Check out a video clip of their fun entrance HERE
The sunlight was pouring in during their first dances. Love all of the west facing windows in the Pavilion at DC Estate Winery. Just look at the dance moves with Matt and Erin :) Love it!!
