The Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms Wedding | Kristin + Ryan by Peer Canvas Photographer
Congratulations Kristin and Ryan!!! They were married this October at The Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms. If this beautiful Bride and Groom look familiar----its because they were both in the Bride's twin sister's wedding earlier this summer :) You can check out that wedding HERE. I have to admit to feeling more self-imposed pressure to produce amazing photographs for this wedding than usual. Kristin's twin sister Tricia's wedding turned out so beautifully---the bar had been set high for Brenton and I for pictures. But as the day unfolded it felt more like being with family and familiar faces---and the pressure subsided. Kristin and Ryan's wedding was every bit as special and beautiful in its own way---and its hard not to get great pictures when working with great people.
Kristin got ready at her home in Rockford. The day was filled with happiness and lovely touches of navy with pops of orange, gold and yellow. I just loved the custom robe that Kristin wore and the handkerchiefs with special messages. The bride's hair and makeup were by Diana from Inspirations.
Kristin looked beautiful in her gown from Vera's in Madison. The illusion back with crystal buttons looked amazing. Kristin gave Tricia a Gemini necklace that was the mirror image to the one Tricia gave her on her wedding day. The necklaces were beautiful---and so thoughtful. Kristin's mom couldn't help but get teary-eyed as her it was her last daughter's big day.
Ryan and the groomsmen got ready at First Free Church--where the ceremony would be held. They wore Charcoal gray suits with pops of fall colors in their pocket squares and boutonnieres from Event Floral. Ryan received a fancy Movado watch from his bride, along with a hammer inscribed with a special message. The hammer brought a big smile to Ryan's face as he had given a hammer to Kristin as well. They did at least pick different messages to inscribe :) How sweet that they would both be thinking the same thing.
It was a gorgeous day for a wedding at First Free Church. Event floral did a fantastic job with the flowers. The yellows and oranges were a beautiful accent to the dark navy.
Kristin was beaming as she came down the isle with her father. She even smiled right at me for one :) Ryan was breathing deep as he saw his bride for the first time.
The sun was pouring through the stained glass windows at First Free as the couple said I Do.
The happy families :) It really was nice to see all the familiar faces.
As a surprise Tricia got the streamers for Kristin and Ryan to make their exit extra special. We rode in style with Fantasy Limousine to their reception at The Pavilion.
We stopped by The Copperstone Inn for pictures with the whole wedding party. What a gorgeous group and a great location.
We made our way through the orchard and it was magical. These two were so happy and it absolutely showed.
The trolly took us around the grounds at Orchard Ridge Farms and there so many great spots for pictures with the newlyweds.
How amazing are these two :) Brenton and I are so happy for you both.
We stopped for a moment by the fountain. Ryan is one happy and lucky guy----and he knows it :)
The Pavilion was decorated to the nines and it looked amazing.

Even the toss bouquet from Event floral was gorgeous :)
We wrapped up the fun-filled reception with a few pictures outside. These two had an amazing wedding and Brenton and I are honored that we got to be a part of it. Kristin and Ryan---Thank you so much for choosing us to be a part of your Big Day. We had a blast and couldn't be happier for you.
Now to get working on the wedding videos for you all!!! YES---videos coming soon for Both Tricia and Paul----and Kristin and Ryan... no pressure... (there is always pressure) But really you both have amazing stories to tell---and I am honored you both chose Brenton and I to do that.
All our best!!! Congratulations again!!
